Volunteer

We currently do not have any openings for dog walkers, animal groomers or animal centre staff, but please consider the jobs available below as they can be very fulfilling and a great help to our branch.

We depend on our volunteers to continue our work effectively for animal welfare in our area. Our branch needs volunteers to help run it and to help raise funds. Every year we spend many thousands of pounds on the animals and the work of the branch, our fundraising is vital otherwise we would quickly run out of cash. If you can help please call Daphne Harris on 01622 891222 Please leave a message if there is no answer and we will call you back.

Home Visitors

One of our greatest needs is for Home Visiting Volunteers.

One of our greatest needs is for Home Visiting Volunteers. As a home visitor you would visit the prospective animal adopters in their own homes to ensure suitability. Qualities needed are a calm confident manner, to be able to get along with people and to have some knowledge of caring for animals. We are always looking for volunteers to join our team so if you feel you would like to join us please contact Daphne as above.

Fosterers

If you would love to give a home to an animal in need but are unable to offer to long term committment fostering could be the answer, the branch urgently needs dedicated animal carers who would be prepared to foster animals prior to adoption. This will not involve any personal expense but will require lots of love and dedication.
